Mae Dettman

Chuck and I married in 1969 just prior to his tour in Vietnam. Upon completion of our 6-year military career we returned to Florida. Our military service allowed me to grow closer to Christ with like-minded families.

God has always been my ‘strength’ and leader. My adult career, as a working mom, began in the Palm Beach County Schools and extended over 40-years. Most of that tenure I served as a Data Processor opening two new elementary schools after serving a short tour in the Palm Beach County Title I program.

I love being a mom of 2, a boy and girl, a wife, grandmother and now a great-grandma. Along with those opportunities I volunteer on International Missions, local Christmas Parade Committee, and several positions in my local church. I continue with the church each week in Contributions and co-host a Small Group, at home, with my husband. Most enjoyable volunteerism is serving our Military Veterans and wives.
